Our 3-class (over 3 weeks) Intro to Yoga series is designed for curious beginners and returning practitioners alike, offering a thoughtful, accessible dive into the foundational elements of breath, alignment, and mindful movement. Each weekly session builds progressively, introducing key postures (asanas), basic pranayama (breathwork), and the subtle art of body awareness. You’ll learn how to move safely and confidently, understand the “why” behind the poses, and begin cultivating a practice that supports your unique body and life.
Yoga isn’t just stretching—it’s a powerful tool for healing and transformation. Week 1: Grounding & Breath
We begin by rooting into the essentials—learning how breath (pranayama) and foundational postures create stability, presence, and ease. Expect a blend of Hatha-style instruction with gentle movement and deep awareness, helping you feel more connected to your body and the moment. This week lays the groundwork for everything that follows.
Week 2: Strength & Flexibility Building on your foundation, we explore how yoga cultivates both resilience and mobility. Through accessible Vinyasa sequences and targeted Hatha poses, you’ll learn how to engage muscles mindfully, open tight areas, and move with greater confidence. This week is about discovering your inner strength and expanding your range—physically and mentally.
Week 3: Flow & Integration
In our final session, we bring it together. You’ll experience how breath, strength, and flexibility unite in flowing sequences that feel both energizing and meditative. We’ll introduce simple Vinyasa flows and offer modifications to suit every body. This week is about integration—feeling how yoga supports your whole life.
